There’s no doubt about it: Zai-On is one of the most jaw-dropping chalets in Niseko!

It’s also one of those “wow” properties that photos or videos don’t fully do justice to… allow us to try and capture it for you.

High Design (and Even Higher Ceilings!)

One crucial factor that photos can’t fully convey is the sheer size of the chalet – the living room ceiling is over four metres high! The chalet spans three floors and the architecture is obviously very impressive, even before you step inside. But it’s not just the size but the meticulous attention to detail that makes this such a standout property.

Room to Entertain

Taking pride of place on the top floor, Zai-On’s living room is one of the best in Niseko. This open plan space comes with amazing views of Mount Yotei and offers so much room to entertain.

The living room has a seated lounge area as well as a separate TV area. The dining area is impossibly grand with a gourmet kitchen to match. This is a real entertainer’s kitchen and comes with every appliance, pot, pan and different type of glass you could possibly need. To top it all off, there’s also an outdoor deck area with a fire pit, outdoor dining area, and a barbecue.

The Coolest Media Room

We had so much fun in the chalet’s media room. Tucked downstairs, this room is fully loaded with entertainment. We watched a movie on the projector screen and were really impressed with the picture quality – it looked just as crisp as a TV screen. We also had fun playing some shuffleboard and needless to say, we really enjoyed the sauna and Jacuzzi as well.

Enviable Address

Remarkably, this massive chalet is not hidden away in the woods but is instead positioned in the heart of Hirafu Village. You can reach the area’s best restaurants on foot and the ski shuttle will whisk you to the slopes in no time. It’s easily one of the most coveted locations in Niseko.

But even with so much going on on our doorstep, we found ourselves staying in for the most part. We simply couldn’t bear to tear ourselves away from this amazing chalet!

6 Versatile Bedrooms

Offering six bedrooms, Zai-On is a great option for hosting large groups and families. There’s a whole range of bedrooms to choose from here: four rooms with king beds (or two singles if you prefer), a bunk room that can sleep six, plus a traditional tatami room that sleeps four.

In case you need some extra space or are travelling with a helper, there is an extra bedroom on the ground floor as well.
