Bring Your Entourage
First off, we need to talk about the sheer size of the property. Villa Anam is perfect for anyone travelling with a large group. After all, what is a jet setter without an entourage?
Villa Anam offers a whopping ten bedrooms sleeping up to 20 guests. The bedrooms are spread out over two floors in two separate buildings, meaning you can enjoy a little me-time when needed.
The two master suites are located poolside, housing a king-sized bed each. Six guest rooms have queen-sized beds, while two rooms have twin beds, which can be reconfigured into a queen if needed. I don’t know if it was the super comfy bed or the over all peace and quiet of the property, but I slept like a log every single night at Villa Anam!
When it’s time to hang out together as a group, the villa offers two spacious living areas with a breezy open-air layout and two massive pools – yes, there are two swimming pools!
Overall, staying at Villa Anam kind of feels like having your own private resort. The two swimming pools sit at the heart of the property with 20 sun beds lining the pool. There’s also a beautiful poolside bale, offering a very photogenic place in the shade. If you’re bringing the kids, a pool fence is available upon request.
As you can see, there’s room to spare here. If you’re travelling with even more people or planning a retreat for a big group, not to worry. Villa Anam is surrounded by three other villas: Villa Tangram, Villa Abakoi and Villa Tiga Puluh. All four villas are literally located right next door to each other, making logistics a breeze.
Best Address in Town
Next to the lavish layout, the villa’s location is just amazing. Seminyak’s famous Eat Street is just a 10-minute walk away. The beach? Five minutes away by car. Tucked into a private lane, Villa Anam feels secluded, safe and exclusive, but you’re never too far from the action.
When you feel like dining in at the villa, the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate you (Novi, Eka and Adi are absolute gems!) Breakfast is already included in the price and a chef can be arranged to prepare lunch and dinner – just remember to request your meals one day in advance.
If you want to get some unique perspective into your five-star surroundings, make your way up to Villa Anam’s private rooftop terrace.
The rooftop houses a lounge area modelled after a swanky beach club and a majestic statue of the Buddha looking over the luxurious rooftops of Seminyak. The lounge is a great place for drinks at sunset with plenty of room for the whole group, while the bale is a fantastic spot for some morning yoga.
Night at the Cinema
So, what do you do for entertainment at this mansion of a villa?
Well, Team Ministry is opting for a movie night. That’s right, we saved the best for last: Villa Anam boasts a private cinema, complete with super comfy loungers, snugly blankets, full AC and amazing sound quality. We have a stack of DVDs, a full spread of popcorn, chips and chocolates… Good thing the villa also has a private gym!
