We loved our weekend stay at Villa Hasian.
Welcome to Villa Hasian
Villa Hasian sits tucked in a small lane off the main street of Jalan Raya Uluwatu in Jimbaran. Surrounded by high walls, the villa welcomes us into a deliciously private setting with vast green lawns and a huge private pool to call our own for the weekend.
The villa manager and his team showed us around the villa which is divided into two pavilions separated by the pool. The villa has five bedrooms in total and each pavilion has its own air-conditioned living areas so there is plenty of space for bigger groups to spread out and enjoy the villa.
From the get-go, we loved the light and bright feel of the villa. Villa Hasian is styled in the vein of a relaxed beach house and that all the rooms and living areas are air-conditioned is a great relief amidst the tropical weather. The enclosed living areas also make it easier to keep the little ones away from the pool (which also includes a shallow section that’s ideal for some supervised fun in the sun). There’s also a cool rooftop terrace that’s the perfect spot to chill out and relax come sunset.
Dining in Villa Hasian
Ever the foodies, dining at Villa Hasian was a definite highlight of our stay. The villa’s chef is terrific! We enjoyed a full feast of Indonesian dishes – steamed vegetables, chicken satay, fried rice, the works – served in the villa’s beautiful white themed dining room. This delicious dinner prepared just for us was one of the best-value meals we’ve had in any villa in Bali.
One of the most frequently asked questions we get is how do the chef services in our villas work? As every villa is different and follows its own system, there is no one-size-fits-all answer (you can read more about chef services in our villas here). At Villa Hasian, the chef is not included in the rates and instead, you pay a fixed cooking fee per mealtime. This means you only pay for the chef for the meals you choose to enjoy in the villa which offers great flexibility as there are some delicious restaurants close by and on some days, you might prefer to dine out. A cooked-to-order breakfast is included in your stay.
Service & Staff
Overall, we could not fault the service at Villa Hasian. The villa is presided over by an experienced manager supported by a team of housekeepers, butlers and security. And it’s not just us gushing over the service – this rave review comes from one of our guests who stayed in Villa Hasian:

As we were traveling with elderly and young kids, there were many requests and they did their best to accommodate them, making our stay very comfortable, safe and welcoming. Staying in Jimbaran
Villa Hasian sits in the heart of Jimbaran, a beach town with a unique vibe. The area has a local and relaxed feel to it, but it’s also home to five-star resorts and sought-after restaurants. The La Meridien and Intercontinental resorts are located right up the street from Villa Hasian and highly-rated restaurants like Cuca and Balique are within a five-minute drive. Jimbaran Beach which is famed for its toes-in-the-sand seafood restaurants is about 10 minutes away on foot.
Jimbaran is also a great home base for exploring southern Bali. During our stay in Villa Hasian, the Ministry of Villas concierge team arranged a car and driver for a day trip to the trendy Ulu Cliffhouse beach club located in the surf hub of Uluwatu – highly recommended! The villa is also located around 20 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic) which makes arrival and departure transfers run that much smoother.
