We have the hard job of inspecting and staying in villas :P Today we are heading up to Ubud and staying at a sustainable bamboo villa, Omah Padi.
We were pleasantly greeted with a welcome drink, cold towel and then were shown around the villa by our Villa Manager. This villa has a wonderful team of experienced staff with warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.

Looking out to the Rice Paddies
The gardens are fabulous and looking out to the rice paddies never gets boring. I love the overall unique bamboo design and the comfort level. Bamboo Design
Villa Omah Padi is built using bamboo and crowned by traditional thatched roofs. Designed by the award winning international acclaimed Balinese architect ‘Ketut Arthana’ from Arte Architects.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Villa Omah Padi has five bedrooms which can sleep up to 12 guests with two extra beds set up. Two of the bedrooms are housed in their own pavilions beside the pool, while a two-storey building houses the remaining three bedrooms, with the largest bedroom upstairs.
Work, Eat, Repeat… in Style
We spent the afternoon on the large dining table typing away. With only the rice paddies surrounding you, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. In actual fact the villa is just a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Ubud and the well-known Monkey Forest.
