They are slightly older villas however amazing value for villas in the heart of Seminyak.

Staying two nights in a two bedroom villa

The Ministry of Villas team had the pleasure of staying here for two nights and were taken aback by the serenity of the two-bedroom villa’s calm, homely atmosphere despite consciously being so close to all the action. On entering the premises you make your way over a set of stones that are raised up from the jet blue pool, immediately setting the scene. From here you look out onto the open plan living space that protrudes from one of two bedrooms set either side. We found the structure of the villa to be easy to navigate around and allow you to feel comfortable right away. Because the bedrooms are situated apart from one another you get a sense of extra privacy, unlike some other properties. We agreed that families with grown up children or two couples will benefit most from the environment and facilities on offer.

The villa layout

We felt rather spoil with how the bedrooms were presented, along with the adjoining bathrooms as the entire interior was kept immaculately clean and beautifully arranged. One of our favourite touches was the ensemble of decorative pillows and cushions that really made you want to jump right onto the large double bed and snooze the afternoon away. The bedrooms come fully air conditioned to ease your relaxation process, and for reassurance of safety there is a safe in each of the bedrooms’ wardrobe areas. If it’s some ultra peace and quiet time away from the pool and sunshine then you have the option to use the flat screen TV and take your pick from the huge array of TV channels on offer or pop down the the local stores to pick up an affordable, high quality DVD. Both bedrooms have secure locks for extra convenience.

Stay in or go out

We specifically enjoyed lazying around in the outdoor living space as it’s deigned in such a manner to encourage socializing and light entertainment. A grand flat-screen TV faces into the living area space but we opted to go with traditional fun activities like playing cards and sharing travel stories whilst the light, omnipresent trickle of the vertical waterfall feature served as satisfactory soundtrack. Sofas are adequate and comfy, you can fit up to five people in one area. Alternatively, there is a breakfast table that seats four people aligned between the master bedroom and pool. We shared fond memories of a simple cooked breakfast there with a little fruit on the side.

The laid back design

A wide variety of houseplants and overhanging leaves add flavor and color whilst connecting you with the mild side of nature to drive home the sense of tranquility. It’s these delicate traces of Bali culture that will ensure you can fully enjoy your time within the grounds and forget the outside world exists. We also have a soft spot for the pool; as mentioned earlier there ares stone steps that lead from the main door to the main villa outdoor area. This was our favored spot for dangling our feet in the pool and take in a few rays. We may have sampled a few cocktails in the process, thanks to our duty free haul!

The Ahisma Estate is truly a quaint, stylish villa that we encourage you to try out. The staff respect your privacy whilst checking up every so often to ensure your experience is up to high standards. Anything you need can be catered for, just mention your request to the friendly management team stationed at the entrance of the estate.
