Introducing The Loft
Standing out from the crowd with its modern minimalistic approach, The Loft Volcano is a sleek designer villa boasting two scrumptious bedrooms of which are equal in both size and design meaning no fighting over who will choose the better room. Lined with full-wall glass windows looking out to the lush green carpet of grass and sleek swimming pool. The bedrooms have an open layout where the sleeping quarters and the bathroom are incorporated into the same fluid space with a connecting door in between. Juxtaposed against its counterparts where traditional Indonesian design features throughout Bali’s spiritual heartland of Ubud – The Loft breathes a breath of fresh air as the perfect designer escape for guests over the age of 12.
Privacy is Key
The Loft Volcano offers guests total privacy, behind closed doors. Their staff have been trained to perfection with a seamless execution of ensuring we always felt like the villa was our own private sanctuary and we would be left to our own devices to enjoy our stay in peace, yet if we needed anything they were not too far away. The staff are not present at the villa at all times, but for me, I loved the privacy it provided us. Gede (the villa’s butler) was warm and friendly greeting us with a big smile upon our arrival and showed us to the villa to check-in with ease.
Mod-Cons and More
Ticking all the boxes for a private escape, The Loft Volcano provides its guests with all the necessary mod-cons to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. The well-equipped kitchen is precisely what is needed for 4 guests with a good-sized fridge, water cooler and Nespresso machine for those that need a caffeine fix like us, first thing in the morning. Breakfast is provided daily and is a delicious spread of fresh seasonal fruit, delicious Nespresso coffee and eggs cooked to your liking.
Majestic Mountain Views
We must note that one of the most ingenious features of this villa is the unique slants in the walls that offer superb views of neighbouring rice fields and the majestic Mount Agung looming in the distance. Running alongside the vast 17-metre swimming pool, this bespoke feature allows for an incredible sense of privacy whilst still maintaining the elegance of a serene view. We took the afternoon haze as an invitation to close our laptops and put away our books to enjoy a glass of wine. The living rooms open plan design treated us to incredible acoustics whilst listening to our favourite tunes on the villas Harman Kardon speakers.
