Valentine’s Day Escape to Bali

Bali is an island of romance with sandy beaches, tropical forests and stunning sunsets. Here is a few reasons why we think it’s perfect for couples.

Couple Massage – Indulge in a couple’s therapy massage. Bali has some of the best spas, particularly in Ubud. A couple’s massage will de-stress your mind and open up to intimacy with your partner. Picture yourself being pampered from head to toe with a luxurious Balinese massage followed by a milk bath in tub full of roses. Sounds expensive right? Massages start from $5 for an hour, so it’s pretty cheap.

Romantic Dinner – Bali has a host of restaurants along with the most romantic settings for your dinner date on Valentine’s. Di Mare Restaurant in Karma Kandara Uluwatu is a must do to sweep someone off their feet. Make sure you are there for sunset! Sardine is a French-Indonesian food restaurant for a very romantic dinner overlooking the rice paddies and great food. Jimbaran has good restaurants if you’re looking for good food and a romantic setting on the beach.

Beach Activities – If you are an adventurous couple, then Bali has quite a few options to bring out the adrenaline junkie in you. How about discovering a whole new world of underwater life with snorkeling? Or surfing the island’s best waves with your partner? You can even go swimming with the dolphins in Lovina or just chill by the beach with a cocktail.

Day TripsBali has some beautiful iconic places that offer the most romantic setting to spend time with your Valentine.

Tanah Lot temple is one of the most tranquil spots in Bali formed out of a rock jutting out from the coastline. The temple is considered very sacred and the local pilgrims will say a little prayer for your love. There are little cafés perched on top of the rock that offer magnificent views of the ocean. You can also trek the rice paddies in Ubud while strolling hand-in-hand and exploring the scenic beauty of the place.

Helicopter Ride – Surprise your Valentine with a 30 minute helicopter ride that captures scenic views of the coastline, rice terraces in Ubud as well as the high peaks of Mount Batur.
