Amazing Value in Seminyak
One fact you won’t find in every Bali guide book is that some of the most underrated must-see places are out of public view. Take Villa Noa as a prime example. Nestled in behind the vibrant and colorful ‘Eat Street’ lies one of the sweetest villa properties Seminyak has to offer. The three-bedroom estate, managed by husband and wife team Komang and Kadek serves as a welcome respite from the outside world with up-to-date lodgings enclosed within its serene, picturesque grounds. Two nights in Seminyak
The Ministry of Villas team took on a two-night stay with full advantage of the luxurious commodities on offer, including the fully air-conditioned huge bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, outdoor entertainment and dining area, and the glorious swimming pool that catches your eye from the moment you enter onto the premises. Komang welcomed us with a fresh fruit juice as he began his customary tour, all smiles from start to finish. This is a dedicated staff member that clearly takes pride in every aspect of hospitality, a quality that won’t falter during your stay.
The arrangement of the sleeping quarters has the master and guest bedrooms facing out onto the swimming pool set out in an L-shape, the master bedroom detached for added privacy. All three rooms come fully equipped with air-conditioning, safety deposit storage, wardrobe and draw compartments, sofas and TV. Beds each have a layer of mosquito netting to ensure a minimum risk of bites from insects in case you choose to leave the sliding doors apart in the evenings. A dainty touch and personal favorite feature of ours was the ensuite bathroom areas, one per bedroom, that presented a walk-in shower and ample grooming space atop the pristine double sink fixture. There’s a hanging rack too for the kids’ wet clothes, and any other laundry you have.
Incredible meals
You will be offered a choice of fine cuisine for breakfast each morning, which can be arranged with the team on arrival. The Ministry of Villas team opted for a delicious omelette and coffee with a little fruit platter on both mornings, enough to set us up for the day ahead. The staff really went overboard with supplying food for our Friday night as they prepared a local buffet dish of meats, vegetables, noodles and plentiful treats that wouldn’t look out of place in Nigella’s tutorials. We all thoroughly enjoyed the attention to detail from villa staff and not to mention how great the food tasted. All this and more can be requested with ease. The staff include the shopping for you for free based on what you would like to have, then they prepare and cook everything. Plus the best bit they also do all the cleaning so you can sit back and relax. There is no surcharge or additional costs, this is included for your stay. We urge you to make the most of it and leave Villa Noa with a winning smile!
Chilling by the pool
The TV area also looks out onto the pool, a favorite resting spot of ours as it gives direct access to the 24-hour kitchen and bedrooms. It’s all undercover too which is great for taking a breather from the sun as well as providing shelter from wind and light showers. The decor is light and contemporary and we can say with confidence that it’s a wonderful choice for an afternoon nap! There were a few mozzies but the staff provide spray and mosquito coils to keep them at bay. The pool is large enough to cater for inflatables or water games such as volleyball, whichever suits your taste. On request, a protective pool fence can be erected around the pool if you plan to have small children or animals running around the grounds. This is included free of charge in the rate.
Walking distance to Eat Street
The villa is looked after by 24-hour security, an assistant is always on standby at the front gate. Usually the gate will be locked after a certain hour, set at your discretion. We mentioned before that Villa Noa is on the cusp of the main streets of Seminyak, easily accessible via the spacious walkway. Enjoy the local delights such as La Favela, Red Carpet nightclub, Nike and Oakley stores and the fine variety of five-star restaurants.
