KITANISHI 3

Raw concrete walls and seemingly endless windows make Kitanishi 3 one of the most striking properties in Hirafu. It’s the kind of ski chalet you’ll only find in Japan! While the property looks cool as can be, it’s also irresistibly comfy. The open plan living areas are primed for having a good time with your ski crew, and the media room with its bunk beds is ready to host a movie night or two. And it really doesn’t hurt that you’re just a stroll away from all the action.

Living Room

The living room is a cool, glass encased spaced located on the middle floor of this three-storey chalet. And not to worry: when we say cool, we mean stylish – the insulation in this concrete creation is top notch, so you’ll feel nice and toasty. The lounge area has an eclectic collection of sofas and armchairs, with enough space to seat a full entourage. There’s a large TV in the room as well, but you’ll probably be too busy admiring the snow-covered views to even notice.

Dining Room

The dining area sits at the other end of the open plan living room, making this a wonderfully inviting communal space to hang out before, after, and during mealtimes. Surrounded by full wall windows looking out to the snow-covered streets, the dining table can seat eight guests. You can also grab a quick bite at the breakfast bar which separates the dining area from the chalet’s fully equipped kitchen.

Kitanishi 3 features four bedrooms. Thanks to their raw concrete walls, the bedrooms have a funky modern feel to them, with plush bedding adding comfort. The three bedrooms housed on the top floor each have a queen bed which can also be set up as two singles if you prefer. The bedroom housed on the ground floor is a bit different. It’s perfect for kids or teens as it comes with bunk beds and doubles as a media room.

Kitanishi 3 is a four-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. The ground floor houses the bunk bedroom, laundry room, and ski room. The first floor houses the living and dining room. The top floor houses three bedrooms.

Kitanishi 3 is a semi-detached townhouse which can be booked together with its sister property Kitanishi 2. When the two properties are booked separately, they are completely private and self-contained.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Kitanishi 3 is centrally located in Hirafu Village in the Niseko ski region in northern Japan. This chalet strikes the perfect balance: it’s located in a quiet street surrounded by chalets, but still within a five-minute walk of the nearest restaurants and shops. Hirafu’s main intersection is just 300 metres away, and the iconic Bar Gyu+ (aka fridge door bar) is even closer by. The closest ski lifts are about 500 metres away. You can either walk on over or hop on the free shuttle bus – the nearest stop is just 100 metres away.
