The villa is divided into multiple pavilions which helps blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. With AC available in all rooms, you’ll always have a cool place to retreat to amid the tropical weather. The colours and materials are rooted in the natural world which creates a harmonious feel throughout.

Living Room

It’s easy to get the whole group together at Luna Weligama as the villa comes with multiple lounges where you can kick back and enjoy the good life. The main house has a family room with ample sofas and a large TV, plus a work desk in case you have to catch up on some emails. The Pavilion features another lounge area, complete with pillowy sofas, black armchairs for a touch of drama, and inspiring pieces of modern art. Then there’s the poolside cabana with its comfy white sofa, not to mention the lovely, shaded verandas… All of that to say: you’ll simply be spoiled for choice.

Dining Room

Unsurprisingly, this sprawling estate also offers several distinct dining areas for guests to delight in. The Pavilion features a beautiful dining area surrounded by full-wall windows looking out to the garden. This space can comfortably accommodate the whole group for relaxed meals served in air-conditioned comfort. Alternatively, you can dine in the glass cabana by the pool or enjoy a quick snack in the kitchen of the main house.

Garden & Pool

With palm dotted gardens opening directly to a paradise beach, Luna Weligama offers the ultimate dose of sea, sand, and sun. There’s an 18-metre-long pool to splash around in and rolling green lawns to run and play on. There’s a row of sun beds by the pool and a lazy hammock swaying in the breeze – the scene really couldn’t be more idyllic. When you need a break from the elements but still want to drink in the views, you can retreat to the gorgeous cabana positioned right by the pool. This beautiful glass structure features a lounge area and a dining table where you can gather up for delicious meals prepared by the villa’s superstar staff.

Luna Weligama features five bedrooms. The rooms are breezy and romantic, complete with canopy beds, timber furniture, beautiful textiles, and ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms are nice and spacious and divided into two pavilions, so you never have to feel like you’re staying on top of each other.

The third building houses two bedrooms. The villa is set amidst gardens with an 18-metre-long pool and a glass cabana.

Villa Manager

Luna Weligama’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
