Sevena Villa is an idyllic tropical hideaway. The villa is surrounded by tropical greenery on all sides. Extensive lawns and a gorgeous private pool make it very easy to enjoy the great outdoors to the fullest. With its earthy colour scheme and beautifully curated furniture, the villa has a timeless feel to it. Exposed brick walls, polished floors, and unabashedly plush sofas and fluffy carpets add a modern twist that’s pretty irresistible.
Living Room
Sevena Villa offers ample lounges where guests can relax and spend some quality time. Thanks to its exposed brick walls and high vaulted ceiling, the main living room has a fabulous “Sri Lankan home meets Brooklyn loft” feel to it. There are plush sofas to lounge on, interesting books to flip through, and a large TV to keep everyone entertained on cosy nights spent in.
Dining Room
The dining room offers a beautiful setting for indulging in meals prepared by the villa’s skilled chef. The dining table is surrounded by ornately carved chairs, with French windows offering views of the pool and garden. The villa benefits from a fully equipped kitchen complete with a gas stove, coffee maker, and a microwave oven. Fresh herbs picked from your own garden will elevate any meal into a feast.

The villa is completely immersed in lush Sri Lankan nature, with luscious greenery and exotic fauna creating the most magical backdrop for your stay. The vast lawns are ideal for sipping a cup of tea or practicing a bit of yoga. The villa’s beautiful turquoise pool is surrounded by an array of sun loungers, with the adjoining veranda offering a blissful place in the shade.

Sevena Villa features six bedrooms. The rooms have a classic décor which relies on timeless furniture, a tranquil colour scheme, and French windows offering lush views of the garden. One room features a king-sized bed, four rooms come with queen-sized beds, and one room features two sets of bunks. The six bedrooms are complemented by three bathrooms.

Villa Manager
Sevena Villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Sevena Villa is located in Weligama in southern Sri Lanka. The villa offers a magical setting amid lush tropical nature. If you’re lucky, you might just spot some peacocks, monkeys, and mongooses amid the greenery. The shoreline with its beautiful surf beaches is just a 10-minute drive away. Historic Galle Fort which dates back to the 16th century is about 50 minutes away.

My family had the most wonderful stay here on the last leg of our Sri Lanka trip. We knew it would be the best of the places we stayed just from the photos, but we were not prepared for just how little the photos did the place justice, but more importantly, the incredible staff there. The house was gorgeous, beautifully set out to maximise comfort, everything you would need was accounted for. But it was Kavindu & Eranda who made the stay as incredible as it was. They took such great care of us, and Erandas food was 10/10 every single time, making any requests so very well especially for our children. He tailored to their requests while also making incredible authentic local cuisine for the adults followed by the best desserts.
Kavindu I can’t praise enough. He took such good care of us always with a smiling face and always ready to help. Our stay was so wonderful because of him and I can’t thank him enough for everything he did to make sure our trip ended on the highest of notes. We never wanted to leave!! Don’t skip on this villa!
The villa and grounds are beautiful with visiting peacocks and monkeys in the trees. It has the comfort and ease of home but with the luxury and service of a 5* hotel. Kavindu made sure our every need taken care of and Eranda cooked us the most delicious food all week. Our favourites were Egg Hoppers, Tuna Curry, Chicken and Roast Cashews.
We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the most amazing week.

Sevena Villa is an amazing house for family vacations. The staff at the house was super helpful and even went above and beyond helping me organize a surprise party! The location is a bit remote which is part of the beauty. You can reach there by tuk tuk or small cars, we were a big group so big shuttles can struggle on the way in. The decoration of the house is well thought for big groups to hang out and enjoy the villa. The rooms and the bathrooms are modern with good quality linens. Do take note only the master has ensuite and the rest will have to share. The beds were super comfy and definitely felt well rested. We recommend to stay there and arrange food with the chef that’s included. The food was always delicious! 5 stars definitely.

Our best stay in Sri Lanka
Janaka and team go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Difficult(probably impossible) to find better food outside. The SL crab curry and seafood soup were so good, we had to have it twice!
Highly recommended for big groups looking to park themselves and enjoy a lovely property. 10mins away from nice cafes, beaches and anything else that you might require, in case you do need to step out.

Sevena Villa played home to our group of 7 friends and an infant for almost a week, and is definitely a highlight of our entire Sri Lankan holiday. The villa exceeded our expectations, with very well done up and comfortable spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, loads of sunshine and most importantly a team of caretakers who really go above and beyond. Every meal was made with love and Janaka along with the assistance of Kavindu and others ensured that we were taken care of throughout our stay.
Fresh towels (separate for bath and the pool), rooms cleaned and beds made every morning, meals served on the clock (keeping our intolerances and preference in mind), and the kitchen always spic and span!
We made use of every part of the house – the pool during the day and in the evenings, the dining table not only for amazingly flavourful meals but also for multiple games of Catan, the couches while we watched television or lounged, the balconies for cups of coffee while you soak in the sun, the kitchen (where I managed to bake a cake) and the lawns where the boys even managed to fit in a friendly match of cricket!
We’re definitely going to be recommending this property to loads of friends and family!
