Villa Cies Living
While Villa Cies was named after a dreamy Spanish beach, the villa feels wonderfully rooted in its sublime Sri Lankan surroundings. Drawing inspiration from traditional Singhalese architecture, the villa features generous lounge areas both indoors and out by the pool. This makes it very easy to spend time together as a group. The serene water garden and gorgeous sea view balconies also deserve a special mention.
Living Room
With windows taking up one full wall of the living room, you’re constantly surrounded by fabulous ocean views. On the opposite side, the room looks out to a beautiful water garden. The décor is in perfect harmony with those picture-perfect vistas, with plush white sofas and armchairs accentuated by bohemian touches of rattan.
Dining Room
When it’s time to dine, you can either gather around the dining table positioned in the living room or head to the outdoor dining area positioned outside on the poolside terrace. Both dining areas offer the villa’s signature sea views.
Games Room
Kick back and have some fun in the villa’s fabulous entertainment room. Looking out to the beautiful water garden courtyard, this fun-filled room comes with a foosball table and a great TV setup.

Villa Cies offers a picture-perfect setting, its private swimming pool giving out to a gorgeous stretch of sand. You can see and feel the waves lapping in just a few metres from your back porch. The villa’s beachfront pool is framed by a dreamy cabana where you can chill out in the shade while enjoying those marvellous beachfront vistas.

Villa Cies features four bedrooms. The rooms have a light and relaxing décor, and they all feature king-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms. There’s one bedroom on the ground floor and three rooms are housed upstairs.

Villa Cies is a private four-bedroom villa located at The Six villa estate. The villa is built over two floors. The ground floor houses the living and dining areas, one bedroom, and a games room. The upper floor houses three bedrooms. The villa has a private swimming pool and provides direct beach access.
Villa Cies Staff
Your stay in Villa Cies is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Cies’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Sri Lankan hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Cies’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Cies is located right on the beach in Weligama on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The villa’s swimming pool is located right on the sand, with the Indian Ocean just a few easy steps away. For a livelier scene, make the 5-10-minute drive to Weligama Bay where you’ll have your pick of restaurants and can soak up the cool surf scene. Villa Cies is located about 45 minutes from UNESCO-protected Galle Fort and about 2.5 hours from Yala National Park, which is home to leopards, elephants, buffalos, and more.

Beachside paradise
We spent 3 nights at Six Welagama. What a treat! Our own villa next to the beach with a pool next to the ocean. Lovely bedrooms upstairs with a terrace overlooking the beach.
Our butlers Sandaruwan and Shaskia were marvellous. They took care of us in a thoughtful considerate way throughout, anticipating what we might like to eat or drink and providing it promptly. We ate delicious food throughout our stay and enjoyed massages from Balinese spa whose therapist came to our villa and gave us wonderful treatments.

Staying at The Six for a week with my family was truly our favourite place we have ever stayed at. The location on the beach was perfect, waking up in the beautiful villa & going for a walk watching the surfers was pure bliss. The breakfasts were the greatest of all time, every meal was exceptional. Sameera & Isuri took the most wonderful care of us- they went over and above to accommodate all of our needs. From going out to source Ayurvedic healing teas to finding our favourite board games & making sure all our dietary requirements were satisfied.
