VILLA GEM

Villa Gem was created by Hadiprana Design, an iconic Indonesian architecture studio first founded in 1958. The creators’ pedigree is evident throughout – there is an incredible attention to detail here and a deep connection to the local heritage. The villa’s staggered layout is ingenious: as you make your way through the pathways and move between pavilions, the views are constantly changing, revealing new sides of Lombok’s natural splendour as you move through your day.

Living Room

There’s no shortage of lounge areas and cosy corners in this sprawling villa. The main living room features a fabulous conversation pit rendered in calm shades of sand – the setup really wouldn’t look amiss in a Palm Springs mansion. This lounge area is perfectly angled towards full wall windows looking out to the rolling green landscape and the Indian Ocean. For some truly sweeping views, make your way up to the yoga deck perched right at the top of the property.

Dining Room

The dining area is positioned next to the sunken lounge, meaning you can easily flop down on a comfy sofa right after finishing a big meal. The dining table seats 12 people with ease, with floor to ceiling windows offering sweeping views over the infinity pool and out to the ocean. A beautiful white-and-timber kitchen frames the dining area, offering all the appliances and crockery you’ll need for preparing elaborate meals and easy poolside snacks.

Garden & Pool

This multi-level villa has several outdoor areas to choose from. The most alluring option is arguably the swimming pool and its surrounding deck – who could resist that sunken lounge during sunset? It’s also a great spot for parents to chill out while the kids splash around the shallow end. Then again, you might want to grab a seat on one of the many terraces hugging the villa… or opt for a tranquil moment in the private yoga shala perched at the highest point of the property.

Villa Gem features four bedrooms. The rooms have a calm and elegant décor, and they come with king-sized beds and lovely ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms are framed by large terraces where you can hang out with the group – and then retreat to the quiet cocoon of your bedroom.

Villa Gem is a private villa located at the Tampah Hills villa estate. This four-bedroom villa has a unique layout: it’s divided into multiple pavilions connected through stairways cascading down the hillside. There’s a yoga deck at the top, with a two-bedroom pavilion located a bit further down. Below these, a two-storey pavilion houses two bedrooms on the upper floor, with the living and dining areas and swimming pool housed downstairs.

Your stay in Villa Gem is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Gem’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Indonesian hospitality.

Villa Manager

Villa Gem’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate. Villa Gem has 24-hour estate security.
