VILLA JATI

Villa Jati elevates guests far above the humdrum of everyday life. Built on a stunning elevation in southern Lombok, this three-bedroom villa gazes over the tropical green island and the endless blue ocean stretching out beyond. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding environment, the villa has been meticulously designed to make the most of those once-in-a-lifetime vistas. The split-level villa is fronted by floor to ceiling glass and surrounded by generous decks, allowing guests to drink in the scenery both indoor and outside by the private infinity pool.

The interiors offer a beautiful contrast between fresh white hues and natural timber, with thoughtful touches incorporated throughout – note the state-of-the-art coffee maker in the kitchen and generous storage space in each bedroom. Of the three bedrooms, two share an interconnecting door and a bathroom between them, allowing guests to stay close together. Life at Villa Jati is all about the views. Positioned on one of the most scenic spots of the Tampah Hills estate, the villa provides breathtaking views of lush Lombok island and the seemingly infinite Indian Ocean at every turn. In a setting so stunning, it’s hardly surprising that the prestigious architect studio Hadiprana was inspired by the surrounding nature while creating the villa. The name of the villa means “teak” in Indonesian and fittingly, you’ll find beautiful stretches of natural timber throughout the property. This split-level villa features seemingly endless stretches of glass and ample outdoor areas, maximising both natural light and fresh airflow.

Living Room

The living room is arguably one of the most scenic spaces on the whole island. Glass doors on three sides of the room can be left fully open when you want to enjoy the breeze or closed when you desire a break from the elements. Either way, you’ll be treated to jaw-dropping views of the emerald green island and the endlessly blue ocean stretching out to the horizon. The room itself is furnished with an irresistibly comfy sofa facing a huge flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. A daybed by the window offers an idyllic setting for quiet contemplation. Beautiful woven carpets and rattan lamps add a bohemian touch to this light-filled space.

Dining Room

The dining area and kitchen are incorporated into the same open plan space as the living room. Positioned at the centre of the room, a timber dining table surrounded by eight chairs and lit up by beautifully woven light fixtures provides splendid views of the ocean and the villa’s garden while dining. A few steps from the dining area you will discover the villa’s open plan kitchen that’s fully equipped for whipping up light snacks and gourmet meals. Caffeine lovers will appreciate the top-of-the-line coffee machine! Even in the kitchen, those picture-perfect views take centre stage, with a strategically positioned island counter allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed ocean views while preparing meals.

Garden

Villa Jati is set on a stunning hillside plot and provides spellbinding views of the island and out to the clear blue ocean. The best place to admire the views is the villa’s private, 65 square metre infinity pool – or perhaps you’re partial to the sunken lounge area instead? As a thoughtful touch, the pool is flanked by a shallow pool that’s ideal for children. The villa is surrounded by lovely grassed areas which allow grownups to soak up the scenery and kids to run and play freely, safely removed from the pool.

Villa Jati features three bedrooms lined with floor to ceiling windows and decorated in soothing earth tones using rich natural materials. There are two interconnecting bedrooms located a few steps below the main living areas. These two rooms also share a beautiful semi-open bathroom between them. The third bedroom is located on a lower floor and is accessed through an external staircase, providing guests with an added sense of privacy.

Villa Jati is a split-level villa with three bedrooms. Upon entering the villa, guests arrive in an open plan living and dining room that’s directly connected to the poolside deck. From the living areas, a few steps lead down to two interconnecting bedrooms which share a bathroom between them. From the opposite side of the living areas, an external staircase leads down to the third bedroom which features its own bathroom. Villa Jati is part of the Tampah Hills villa estate.
