Villa Kalih Living
Villa Kalih was designed with the greatest of care. The villa itself is not built from any old timber, but from hand-selected coconut wood that was kiln-dried over several months. The rooms are incredibly elegant yet intricately layered, featuring unique mementos and art pieces collected over decades. From its lush gardens to its graceful interiors, Villa Kalih feels like a rare Balinese jewel.
Living Room
With its soaring high ceiling and glossy timber floors, the living room has a near regal air to it. The room is framed by full wall glass on two sides, inviting lovely views of those lush green gardens while also providing air-conditioned comfort. You can lounge on the white sofas while watching a movie on the large TV or simply admire the curated art that adorns the room.
Dining Room
The dining area is incorporated to the living room, creating an inviting communal space where conversation flows easy. The timber dining table is surrounded by six white chairs, with full wall windows looking out to the garden. The villa also comes with a fully equipped kitchen so keeping everyone happy and fed will be easy.
Garden & Pool
This is what Bali holidays are all about: days spent luxuriating in your private pool, surrounded by luscious tropical gardens. You can also soak up the sun on a white sun bed with matching parasols providing shade when needed. The pool is framed by an elegant cabana with an alfresco dining area and ample lounges.

Villa Kalih features two bedrooms. The rooms exude Balinese elegance, boasting refined furnishings and a muted colour scheme that invites restorative sleep. Both rooms are well appointed with king-sized beds, flatscreen TVs, and beautiful ensuite bathrooms.

Villa Kalih Layout
Villa Kalih is a two-bedroom villa that’s divided into two pavilions. The main pavilion houses the living room and two bedrooms. The second pavilion is an open plan poolside lounge. These two buildings are separated by a private swimming pool and framed by luscious gardens. For larger groups, Villa Kalih can be booked in conjunction with Villa Siki to create a five-bedroom estate.
Villa Kalih Staff
Your stay in Villa Kalih is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Kalih’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Kalih’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

A tranquil getaway in paradise
I had the most incredible, relaxing and enjoyable experience staying at Villa Samuan with my family earlier this year. From the moment I arrived all my needs were met by the attentive, and professional staff members, ensuring every element of my stay was taken care of. The villa is so serene that there was almost no need to enter the bustling streets of Seminyak, as the villa provided a haven for myself and my family in which we were treated to unique experiences such as a traditional Indonesian/Dutch Rijsttafel which was truly a highlight of our trip. The quality and taste of all the dishes we indulged in at Villa Samuan were exquisite, especially when paired with one of the many award winning wines available at the villa or their specialty, banana and mango daiquiris. In closing, Villa Samuan is an incredibly special place that highlights the beauty and culture of Bali, I will without a doubt be visiting again!

Had the dreamiest time at Villa Samuan with my family and some close friends. We were so grateful to the incredible attentive staff, who took such great care of us – even sourcing some special souvenirs for us to take home.
The villa is located within an easy walk to the best of Seminyak – but we barely wanted to leave. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned to perfection, cool, comfortable and chic. The pools are divine and where we spent most of our holiday. Special mention has to go to the magnificent landscaping which we could not stop admiring!
The food and drinks, all made in house by the incredible chefs and staff, were divine, and as an anxious traveller it was so lovely to know the water was all triple filtered. As a special getaway, I really can’t imagine anything better. Couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly.

A week of bliss.
Our group of long-time girlfriends recently travelled to Bali to celebrate some special birthdays. We spent 7 amazing days at Villa Samuan and cannot speak highly enough of our stay. We left feeling completely relaxed and very grateful for a very special holiday.
The location is perfect being a 5-10 minute walk to the Flea Markets, main shopping & restaurant areas, Ku De Ta etc and the beach. The villa design is stunning & beautifully decorated. We took the entire space/both villas giving us 5 bedrooms all with their own bathroom, 2 living and dining areas and 2 pool areas. All the living areas, bedrooms rooms & bathrooms are huge. The outdoor areas are equally WOW – the pools are beautiful, perfect temperature, in the right amount of shade, a generous size & surrounded by lush gardens with high walls giving total privacy. It was amazingly quiet given how close by everything is.
The staff are incredible, very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Any transport we needed or activities we wanted to do Komang organised. The cooking day & village tour he booked for us were excellent as was the poolside yoga we did most mornings.
The food & drinks menu offers a great selection of local & western dishes. We loved returning to the villa after a day out, having a cool-down swim, poolside drinks & a delicious meal “at home”. There are also small kitchenettes at both ends of the villa with a fridge, filtered refrigerated water machines etc.
There is a spa menu and treatment room! We made good use of the spa treatments available to be booked, all of which were excellent & very well priced. It is perfect not having to leave the villa for a massage, just the effort of getting up from the sun lounge and walking to the treatment room.
We could not fault anything and thoroughly recommend a stay at the villa.
