Villa Zest is that rare type of villa which offers cool design to die for and also caters to families. Built over three floors, the villa comes with a fun zip line, outdoor trampoline and a treehouse that’s perfect for fun and play.
Living Room
Villa Zest’s living room features a gorgeous sunken lounge facing a wall-mounted TV. The room connects to the poolside terrace, but can also be fully enclosed with glass doors if needed.
Dining Room
Villa Zest’s dining table is housed in the same living room and can seat 10 people on translucent Perspex chairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a large wine fridge to the back of the room.

Villa Zest has a well-equipped gym with cardio machines, yoga mats and weights.

Villa Zest’s fabulous outdoor facilities don’t pale in comparison to the rest of the villa. Villa Zest has a gorgeous 18-metre infinity pool looking out to the Gulf of Thailand, with plenty of sun chairs to lounge around on. Villa Zest is a five-bedroom villa that’s built over three levels. The villa’s living and dining room faces the pool and can be enclosed with glass doors if needed. There are four bedrooms with king-sized beds and one room has two queen-sized beds and two single beds, making it great for families. Villa Manager
Villa Zest’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Villa Zest is located in Nathon on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. The villa is located at the Lime Estate together with Villa Splash and Villa Spice. Villa Zest has a gorgeous hillside location with views looking out to the Gulf of Thailand. Villa Zest is located within a 15-minute drive from Nathon Town and some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, including Bang Po and Laem Noi. The bustling hub of Chaweng and the famous Fisherman’s Village in Bophut can be reached in about 45 minutes by car.

We chose Villa Zest because of its excellent reviews and its location on Koh Samui, and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. We stayed for two weeks from 17th February to 2nd March 2026 after spending four weeks travelling around Indonesia and Thailand, so this part of our trip was meant to be a relaxing retreat—and it certainly delivered.
From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The villa arranged for a driver to collect us from the airport, which was such a welcome touch after a long journey. During our stay he also became our regular driver, happily taking us wherever we wanted to go around the island, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free.
Kae and her team were absolutely fantastic and truly made our stay special. Kae manages everything at the villa and is also an excellent chef. She prepared some delicious meals for us throughout our stay, always happy to cook whatever we felt like and at any time. It felt incredibly luxurious to have such personalised service, and every dish was freshly prepared and full of flavour.
The villa itself is stunning and extremely spacious, with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The facilities are excellent, and we particularly appreciated the gym, which was a great addition. (The exercise bike could do with a repair, and unfortunately, the air conditioning in the gym wasn’t working during our stay, but this didn’t detract from our overall experience.)
Kae was always happy to recommend places for us to visit, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby local town. It was interesting to walk around and had everything we needed, from small shops to local restaurants. One day, we also visited Fisherman’s Village on the other side of the island, which is about a 40-minute drive from the villa. Although it was lively and popular with tourists, we quickly realised how much we preferred the peaceful atmosphere of the villa and were very happy to return to our quiet haven.
One of the highlights of Villa Zest is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. The outlook from the property is simply stunning, and we never tired of sitting by the beautiful pool, gazing out across the landscape and enjoying the sense of calm and space around us. The location is perfect for anyone looking for peace, privacy and tranquillity.
With Kae and the wonderful housekeeping team taking care of everything so thoughtfully, we truly didn’t want for anything during our stay. It allowed us to completely switch off and enjoy every moment.
We will treasure our very special time at Villa Zest. The strapline is absolutely true: “Once you have stayed in a villa like this, you will never want to stay in a hotel again.” After this experience, we can certainly say that villa living is something we will choose again.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel, Short Walk to V&A Waterfront
From Primrose on the desk during the day to Winston on the night shift to the staff at breakfast, and the housekeepers, everyone working at Villa Zest was helpful, kind, polite, interested and interesting. Our room was spacious with two windows that opened. The shower was separated from the bedroom only by its glass encosure, so you should be intimate with your fellow traveller if you stay in room 9. In a quiet residential neighbourhood, it was very quiet at night, yet only a 5 minute walk to a main street where there were several restaurants and bars. The chef was imaginative and the breakfasts delicious. The extra bonus of complimentary afternoon tea with a cake or pastry from the chef was great to come to after a long day of touristing. While it was too cool to enjoy the pool, we did sit outside and read our books. Internet was good.

What can I say other than this villa is awesome. From the moment you arrive, Kae and her staff are at hand to look after you. Food is wonderful, although the menu provided by Silk isn’t that great so we deviated most nights. Ate a mix of Thai and western / bbq. The villa itself is stunning and we didn’t suffer massively from mosquitos.
Our young kids had a blast, pool and tree house, although the zipline looked a tad dangerous for youngsters. If you want lots of nightlife and an abundance of restaurants close by then this villa is not for you. If you are looking for stunning views, amazing accommodation and general pampering then this is heaven. Would we return, absolutely.
