When most people think of Bali they think of the beach and the cool beach bars such as Ku De Ta and Potato Head. These days there is more and more cool beach bars popping up along the Bali Beaches where you enjoy a cocktail or two.

Crystal Palace Beach Bar

Crystal Palace – on the beach on the border of Seminyak and Legian. Crystal Palace is a relaxed beach bar that attracts a crowd everyday to watch the stunning colours in the sky as the sun sets over the ocean.

Ku De Ta Beach Bar

Ku De Ta – still one of the most expensive beach bars in Bali. Ku De Ta is where the beautiful go for a martini. The food is fabulous and the location is right in the middle of the Seminyak Beach.

Potato Head Beach Bar

Potato Head – this is one of the most famous beach bars in Bali. It attracts a cool crowd and offers simple bar meals with amazing cocktails with the price tag to match. There is a minimum spend for the day beds and in the high season you usually have to book ahead or be prepared to wait in line to get in. Dress code can apply sometimes. Bring the swimmers for a dip on sunset in the infinity pool.

The W Resort Beach Bar

Woo Bar – located at the W resort, the Woo Bar often has international Dj’s and no cover charge. Cool and relaxed atmosphere but still a hotel resort with children running around. Great cocktails and complimentary snacks.

Karma Kandara Beach Bar

Karma Kandara – the private beach bar located at the exclusive Karma Kandara Villa Resort in Uluwatu is a cool beach bar. Access to the beach bar is via a cable car and is around USD 20 pp for entry. Best on sunset but stay for dinner as the traffic back to Seminyak can be a little crazy.

Batubelig Beach Bar

Batubelig Warong – when all you want is a cheap bar on the beach without the hefty taxes head to the little beach shack on Batubelig beach. When you pay $2 for a fresh coconut or Bintang and $1 for a mix juice.
