Phi Phi Islands

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Visiting the very photogenic Phi Phi Islands is the most popular Phuket Day Tour. The islands were, of course, made world-famous by The Beach starring a very young Leonardo Di Caprio and continue to attract visitors by the boatload to this day. Phi Phi Islands can be reached in one hour by speedboat from Phuket. Day trips to Phi Phi Islands include visiting the most scenic spots –snorkelling is also great in the surrounding waters.

Phang Nga Bay

Another collection of stunning lime stone islands, Phang Nga Bay is mostly protected by the Ao Phang Nga National Park and offers amazing scenery to feast your eyes on. Phang Nga Bay is home to some 40 islands, including the famous and much photographed James Bond Island which was heavily features on the 007 film, The Man with the Golden Gun.

Khao Sok National Park

Khao Sok National Park offers amazing natural scenery – in fact, the area is home to one of the oldest rainforests on the planet. Visiting the park gives you a real feel of the tropics: the area is home to some 300 bird species and the world’s largest flower, rafflesia kerrii. Trek through winding jungle paths, marvel at natural waterfalls and dramatic lime stone cliffs jutting out of the ocean – and don’t forget the camera! Getting to Khao Sok National Park from Phuket’s west coast takes about three hours.

Koh Ya Noi

Looking to get away from it all? Set your course for Koh Ya Noi. This inhabited but very low key island is located about one hour from Phuket. Koh Yao Noi boasts pristine natural scenery and is the ideal destination for indulgent relaxation and exploring the life aquatic – this is one of the best spots for snorkelling and diving around Phuekt. Waterfalls

If you’re not interested in boat rides, you can also spend a day exploring the natural beauty of Phuket island itself. What could be more refreshing than visiting a natural waterfall? The two biggest waterfalls in Phuket – Bang Pae and Ton Sai – are both located within Khao Phra Thaew

National Park. Bang Pae waterfall is located close to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project, which could make for a fun addition to your day of chasing waterfalls. Old Phuket Town

Phuket day tours don’t have to be just about boat rides and island hopping. Experience a different side of this beachy paradise island by venturing into Old Phuket Town. The old town is a very photogenic blend of Sino-Portuguese and Chinese architecture. Old Town Phuket offers an interesting glimpse of history, but also embodies modern day cool with vibrant street art, trendy coffee shops and of course, the famous night market.
