It’s February – the month of love! It is the time to let your heart skip a beat (or two), fall head over heels and feel the love. February is your chance to raise the bar and curate experiences that would last a lifetime (or at least till the end of the year!).

Planning a romantic getaway

We’re sure that you’ve probably planned a lovely getaway with your partner to celebrate the month of love. Depending on your appetite for adventure, some of you would have booked a weekend of skiing in the beautiful Japanese powder hills, or skydiving. For some of us, we’d rather enjoy the high-life where the sun, sea and sand greet us along with a glass of ice-cold bubbles.

And where could you enjoy this luxury at affordable prices? Bali.

Bali has long been known as an exotic oasis boasting some of the world’s best surf beaches, rich culture, vibrant nightlife and lush green surroundings. The island is a little gem and attracts some 3.76 million* visitors a year, from couples to families to backpackers and even those who are looking to find peace and serenity (cue: Eat Pray Love). In fact, its nickname sums it best, “The Island of the Gods.”

So we’ve put together a quick guide to help you plan your cheeky (last minute) getaway to Bali, this February, aka the month of love. Thank us later!

So, we’ve booked the tickets. Any recommendations on where to stay?

It doesn’t matter if this is your first or 10th time coming down to Bali, choosing a place to stay can bring on a massive headache, way worse than a Bintang hangover. You are spoilt for choice: mountain view? They’ve got it. View of the the beautiful turquoise ocean each morning? They’ve got it. How about the view of the rice paddy fields? Yep, got that too.

Here are two of our favourite and decently priced 1-bedroom villas in Bali. These villas are spacious and are very private, ensuring that you enjoy a lovely time with your partner. The month of love is all about enjoying precious time together: lay by the pool sipping cocktails or take it to the living room to snuggle in and watch your favourite movie.
