1. Jungceylon Shopping Mall

One of the most popular and appealing shopping centres in Phuket, Jungceylon Shopping Mall is home to countless amazing stores and parlours selling beautiful clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, and other accessories, as well as spa products, souvenirs, toys, electronics and other goods. Basically, whatever you’re looking for, chances are you’ll find it at Jungceylon. There is also a supermarket on the ground floor, offering a wide selection of groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, spirits, cosmetics and more.

2. Patong Street Stalls

Patong city centre is lined with endless street stalls selling everything from swim toys to natural pearls and electronics. A huge variety of souvenirs, beach wear, Muay Thai accessories and natural spa products can be purchased here at a very reasonable price, especially if you’re good at bargaining.

3. Night Markets

Another cluster of street stalls, night markets are not only a fantastic spot to savour some authentic Thai food, but also an amazing place to hunt out something unique and special to bring back home with you. Night markets usually take place once or twice a week, so ask any local or a Thai expat when and where you’ll find the next night market. Don’t forget to haggle for the prices!

4. Bangla Mall

Bangla Mall is located in the heart of Bangla Road, the epicentre of both shopping and nightlife in Patong. Housing a Lazer Battle entertainment centre, a couple of spa shops, a bank and fast-food restaurants, this centre is not so much a typical shopping mall, where you could purchase goods and items, but more of a family-oriented entertainment hub.

5. Banzaan Fresh Market

Banzaan Fresh Market is a favourite among locals and travellers alike. The market is madeup of endless aisles conveniently located in the centre of Patong, just behind the massive Jungceylon shopping mall.  This modern looking local market provides a wide selection of food, clothes, toiletries, jewellery and souvenirs to buy.

6. Banana Walk

One of the latest additions to the already appealing shopping in Patong, Banana Walk is a large three-storey shopping mall housing fashion boutiques, shoe and accessory shops, natural spa products stores, wine shops and many other attractive boutiques catering to a wide variety of shoppers.

7. Malin Plaza

Malin Plaza is actually the name of one of Patong’s night markets. Offering a large selection of souvenirs and other knick-knacks, Malin Plaza features lower prices than elsewhere in Patong and also provides an ample array of clothing, electronics, spa products, luggage and other items. A heads up for the foodies: Malin Plaza is also a great place to savour some bargain-priced Thai cuisine.

8. OTOP Market

OTOP is an abbreviation of “One Tambon One Product”, “tambon” being the word for a Thai subdistrict. The market was established to promote and support the locally-produced products of each tambon. You can purchase some quality gifts including handicrafts, silk scarves, cotton products, traditional clothing and other authentic Thai goods.
