When we’re wanting to indulge in the finer things in life, we set our course for Phuket. Offering an enticing mix of stunning beaches, rich local culture, gourmet cuisine and jaw dropping luxury villas, it’s little wonder that A-listers from Kate Moss to Mick Jagger and from Naomi Campbell to Leonardo DiCaprio have long favoured this Thai island. In December 2018, Ministry of Villas CEO Alastair Loxton had the pleasure of staying as a guest at the Impiana Kata Noi villa resort while visiting the Kata Rocks Super Yachts Rendezvous in Phuket.
Welcome to Impiana Kata Noi
Built on a dramatic headland on Phuket’s western coastline, Impiana Kata Noi blends sleek contemporary design with awe-inspiring ocean views. Home to just 11 private pool villas, the property has an exclusive and bespoke feel to it – this is not just another generic corporate resort. The attentive staff (including butlers and concierge) have a way of making you feel like you’re the only guest staying at the resort.
Impiana Kata Noi’s beautiful villas are complemented by five-star resort facilities. The Swasana Spa is definitely worth a visit but the undeniable highlight is The Living Room. This scenic restaurant offers both international and Thai cuisine and comes with a fully-stocked wine cellar and cigar lounge. The Living Room has its own library which is perfect for catching up on some reading or emails. The best part? The restaurant has a grand piano! If you’re keen to visit the resort without checking in, The Living Room is also open for outside guests.
Walking through the resort’s manicured grounds and taking in the views, it’s easy to see why Impiana Kata Noi has become a very sought-after wedding venue. Ceremonies take place on the lawn, framed by sweeping views of the Andaman Sea. The setting is nothing short of magical.
Staying at Impiana Kata Noi
Each of the 11 one and two-bedroom villas at Impiana Kata Noi offers views of the ocean, so there’s no fear of missing out on the main event. During his time in Phuket, Alastair stayed in the Garden Private Pool Villa.
This spacious one-bedroom villa features private living areas and a bedroom suite with a glass-fronted balcony looking over the ocean. Needless to say, it’s not the worst view to wake up to in morning. Also serving some serious views is the villa’s 15-metre pool which offers more than enough room for a solo traveller or a couple to clock some leisurely laps in. The villa is furnished with beautifully chosen designer pieces and comes with full amenities – hair dryers, high-end toiletries, kimonos and more.
Though all the villas at Impiana Kata Noi share the same sleek design, each villa is unique. Some villas are ideal for a romantic getaway while others are purposefully designed for families. Reach out to our team to find out which villa is best suited for you.
Stunning Beaches, Fine Dining and Luxury Yachts
Impiana Kata Noi is built on a scenic headland in Kata Noi. This brings you within a five-minute drive from the family friendly Kata Beach and the more low key but equally beautiful Kata Noi Beach. The bustling hub of Patong is about 20 minutes away by car.
The staff at Impiana Kata Noi can assist with restaurant bookings and organise local transfers, making Phuket your oyster. There are a few great restaurants within a short drive from the resort, including Mom Tri’s Kitchen (refined Thai and international cuisine in a stunning oceanfront setting) and Leonardo Da Vinci (elegant Italian dining). As kismet would have it, Impiana Kata Noi is also just five minutes away from the Kata Rocks villa complex which made it the perfect home base for visiting the Kata Rocks Super Yachts Rendezvous.
Then again, you could easily spend your holiday in Phuket without leaving the lavish comfort of Impiana Kata Noi at all.
