Pro tip: most venues offer early bird tickets at a lower price. It’s also not unheard of for venues to be sold out come New Year’s Eve. Either way, it’s best to secure those tickets and to book that table early in the game!

Epic Parties

OMNIA

Every Instagrammer’s dream come true, OMNIA day club is hosting a cavalcade of world-class DJs at their stunning clifftop venue in Uluwatu. The main act will be Hakkasan Las Vegas’s resident DJ Ruckuz along with DJ Victoria from Singapore and OMNIA’s resident DJs Boyd, FLIP, Soltice and DJ Halim Ardie. Come midnight, partygoers will be treated to a spectacular firework display over the Indian Ocean to welcome the New Year in Bali.

Tropicola

One of the most buzzed about new beach clubs on the island, the retro fabulous Tropicola is hosting a two-day New Year’s Colafest featuring a performance from Late Nite Tuff Guy and wait for it – free-flow food and drinks! Jump into the blue-tiled pool, sip a perfectly chilled cocktail and enjoy prime views over Batubelig Beach as you ring in the New Year in Bali.

Manarai Beach House

Nusa Dua’s stylish beachfront playground, Manarai Beach House, invites partygoers to boogie down to Latin beats at their New Year’s Eve Disko Samba extravaganza. Headlined by French DJ/producer Natty who has previously worked with the likes of David Guetta and Jennifer Hudson will get you to boogie and groove your way straight to 2019. The night will have a groovy 1970s theme and it’s set to be the biggest New Year’s party in Nusa Dua!

Potato Head

This New Year’s Eve, the iconic Potato Head Beach Club is welcoming Disclosure, one of the biggest electronic music acts around to the Island of the Gods. Having worked with legends including Sam Smith, The Weeknd and Mary J. Blige, Disclosure will easily be one of the biggest acts this New Year in Bali. More acts are set to be announced closer to the event so watch this space.

Finns Beach Club

Another two-day bash, Finns Beach Club’s New Year’s Music Festival will feature performances from heavy hitters including Martin Solveig, Robin Schulz and Roger Sanchez on New Year’s Eve followed by BROODS, Clean Bandit, Khalid, Robinson Music, The Rubens and The Wombats on New Year’s Day. New Year’s Eve is an adults only shindig while the New Year’s Day bash is set to be a family friendly event.

Luigi’s Hot Pizza

One of the coolest hot spots in trendy Canggu, Luigi’s Hot Pizza’s New Year’s party is set to be even rowdier than the venue’s normal parties. A collaboration with local DJ collective PNNY, the entrance fee includes a welcome drink and – be still my heart – free flow pizza!

Pablo’s

Once you’ve stuffed yourself with pizza at Luigi’s, wobble across the street to Pablo’s. This Latin themed old school hip hop emporium throws some of the best parties in the ‘Gu, making it the perfect spot for those New Year in Bali shenanigans. Doors open at 5pm for dinner and the party will go on until well into the wee hours.

Sky Garden

Sky Garden is a Kuta nightlife institution and the night club’s New Year’s parties tend to be epic. This New Year’s Eve, Sky Garden is hosting Dutch DJ Dannic. Honestly though, we’re more excited for Sky Garden’s New Year’s Day set with superstar DJ and musician Steve Aoki taking the stage!

Ku De Ta

If you’re looking for the best party in town, you just can’t go wrong with Ku De Ta. This iconic Seminyak beach club is hosting a New Year’s extravaganza with views looking over Seminyak Beach and out to the ocean. The night will start with a round of cocktails and canapés, followed by a lavish three-course dinner. Beats will be provided by an international lineup of DJs, including Stu Mac and Glynn Tandy from the UK and Loco Hero from the Netherlands.

W

The W’s New Year’s Party will be a night to remember, with the party spilling over multiple venues across this legendary Seminyak resort. W Lounge will host DJ Doorly, Olivia Dawn and Internet Slang, while Woobar invites you to dance beneath the stars with tunes courtesy of Paul T, Nanda and JT. If you want to fuel up before hitting the dance floor, W’s Fire and Starfish Bloo restaurants are hosting mouthwatering dinners the same night. After things start to wind down at W Lounge and Woobar around 2:30am, the good times keep rolling at Woobase, W’s boutique basement club.

Ulu Cliffhouse

Looking for an all-day party hang to celebrate New Year in Bali? Ulu Cliffhouse has you sorted! This swanky clifftop venue throws its doors open at 11am on December 31 and the party will go on well into the New Year. The all-day party will feature international DJ acts and as the year turns, you’ll have front row seats to Bali’s epic fireworks. The theme of the day is “beats, eats and bubbles” and true enough, Ulu will also offer a decadent eight-course tasting menu for party animals to munch on.

SugarSand

One of the coolest new beach clubs to open in Bali in 2018, SugarSand on Double Six Beach will host cooler than cool US musician Karizma who’s guaranteed to get you down to the dance floor with a little help from DJ Lady Flic and Pounds not Ounces. Pro tip: if you want to beat the New Year’s traffic, head to SugarSand at 4pm for a four-course dinner and a round of bubbly.

Da Maria

Get ready to boogie at Da Maria’s New Year’s bash, with a lineup featuring Bas Ibellini, 528Hz Crew, Carlo Davids, Disco Stu, Marco B and Andy Chunes. The Amalfi styled Osteria is lit up by a disco ball and come New Year’s Eve, partygoers are treated to a six-course dinner and five hours’ worth of free flow drinks. Not that hungry? Don’t worry, Da Maria is also offering a package for canapés and three hours of free flow drinks.

Cocoon Beach Club

What better way to ring in the New Year in Bali than by crashing an epic pool party? Cocoon’s Atlantis themed pool bash promises to “deliver an underwater experience of the lost city of treasure” along with a performance from DJ Igor Carmo. Doors open at 5pm and the party will go on well into 2019.

Mano Beach House

Chill by the beach and ring in the New Year in true tropical style. Mano Beach House’s New Year’s Eve will feature a lavish seafood dinner, with a champagne cocktail to greet you on arrival. Marc Roberts from the UK along with local talents Doctoryez and Ones will provide the tunes as you sit back, relax and witness the last sunset of the year over Petitenget Beach.

Sundays Beach Club

What better place to celebrate New Year in Bali than one of the most beautiful beaches on the island? The beautiful Copper Kitchen & Bar offers a decadent setting for celebrating the New Year in Bali, with tropical views looking over the rooftops of Ubud. Anantara Seminyak is offering not just one but two lavish dinners to ring in the New Year in style. Add some Balinese soul to your New Year’s celebration. No better place to begin the new year than Seventh Heaven! The Layar’s sophisticated Italian fine dining restaurant Settimo Cielo is offering an extravagant seven-course set menu to ring in the New Year in style (or maybe in a divine food coma!). The theme of the night is Venetian Masquerade but don’t worry about scrambling for a costume – masks will be provided by the venue.

Folk Pool & Gardens

Folk Pool & Gardens is hosting what might just be the most chilled out New Year’s celebration on the island. “Peaknic’s Bubbly Ball” will feature a fluffy foam party, tarot reading and a relaxed poolside picnic. Ibiza in Bali

What better place to nurse that Bali hangover than… Ibiza? Hands down the coolest beach club in Jimbaran, the swanky Ibiza in Bali invites partygoers to chill by the pool at their Hangover Party come January 1.
