If you have been to Bali before then you would have heard of Seminyak. It’s one of the most popular and one of the most expensive areas too. The main street heading towards the beach and Ku De Ta is refered to as ‘Eat Street’ by tourists.

The street is lined with restaurants, bars, boutiques, spas, cheap dvd stores and every 100m there is a Circle K convenience store. It’s certainly a lively street with so much to see and do. However the traffic can be a nightmare at times and during the peak times so busy it pretty much comes to a stand still.

Most people want to be walking distance from Eat Street. That means most villas increase their rates. But every so often you find a great bargain like Villa Noa. This 3 bedroom villa with en-suite bathrooms is awesome value!

Super spacious

There is a private drive way that comes off the main street. No we don’t mean a gang where it winds around the back streets of Seminyak and you wouldn’t think to walk down it at night as it’s pitch black. Nope this is a private driveway with a handful of villas on the left hand side. Villa Noa is the stunning villa at the end and you will not believe the size. Built years ago when land was cheap Villa Noa occupies a large block.

As you walk through the main entrance Wayan and Ketut greet you. The married couple that have been managing the villa for years. The welcomes drinks are prepared to you by the staff, the warm Balinese hospitality warms you and it’s at this point you know you can truly relax.

Dining in

To the left when you enter is an 8-seater dining table surrounded by wicker chairs is perfect for a great family dinner. A fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and mineral water dispenser is positioned at one side of the dining area.

You can also enjoy a special meal under the stars by requesting the villa chef to prepare all of your favourites or you can try few local Indonesian dishes. You can also enjoy a BBQ meal with a chilled Bintang or glass of wine by the pool. The chef is included in the nightly rate, #winning and the groceries are cost price so you simply pay for the groceries and that’s it.

The bedrooms

The villa has 3 spacious king size bedrooms with open-air bathrooms. A familiar design the Balinese are famous for. The master bedroom in Villa Noa occupies an entire pavilion. It features a king size four poster bed with white nets across its four corners creating an elegant canopy. The master has an attached en-suite bathroom with a semi-outdoor design. It has twin basins, a shower and provides direct access to the tropical gardens and the pool. There is a separate dressing room and a relaxing sofa within the master to fulfill all needs of the modern traveller. The bedroom also has a flat screen TV with satellite channels.

The two guest bedrooms are inter-connecting, each featuring a king size four poster bed and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom features a semi-outdoor shower, twin basins and a separate dressing area. All rooms are fully air conditioned and equipped with safe deposit boxes. The bedrooms offer magnificent views of the swimming pool and tropical gardens.

Villa Noa is currently on sale in 2015 for the low season. The villa also comes with two motor bikes that you can use during your stay. Just make sure you bring an international licence otherwise you are not going anywhere on the bikes. Plus is child friendly and has two complimentary baby cots and a pool fence. A fence in Bali will usually set you back $30 per day plus the installation. So you can see why we love Villa Noa!
