Big Valley 1 is a cool concrete chalet offering a picture-perfect locale in Niseko’s Hirafu Village. Positioned in a quiet street and facing dreamy snow covered forests, the chalet is located just a short walk from the ski lifts and (perhaps just as importantly), all that apres ski fun! Cool and modern on the outside, the four-bedroom chalet boasts warm and cosy interiors and all the mod cons you could ask for.

Travelling with a bigger group? Twin chalets Big Valley 2 and Big Valley 3 are located right next door.

Big Valley 1 boasts bold Japanese sensibilities rendered in concrete and glass. On the inside, it’s a different story, with the chalet offering warm modern furnishings across three floors – the perfect retreat after a day spent out in the snow.

Living Room

The open plan living areas sit on the chalet’s middle floor, with full-wall windows flooding the space with light. The room has an open floor plan, so guests relaxing on the plush sofas while flicking through Netflix can easily converse with those lingering around the dining table. 

Dining Room

Also located on the middle floor and just a few steps from the living room sofas is a dark wood dining table surrounded by high back chairs and an in-built sofa. The fully-equipped, open plan kitchen is also incorporated into the same fluid space.

Big Valley 1 has four bedrooms, all furnished with split beds which can be set up as a king-sized bed or two single beds. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and the three bedrooms are housed on the top floor.

Big Valley 1 is a four-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. Big Valley 1 is part of the Big Valley estate, together with Big Valley 2 and Big Valley 3.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Big Valley 1 is located on the border of Lower Hirafu Village in Niseko, Japan. This is a peaceful setting, surrounded by other chalets and forest – and yet, it’s just moments away from the ski lifts and restaurants! It takes about 10 minutes to reach the lifts on foot – and even less if you hop on the free shuttle bus which stops practically at your doorstep.
