BIG VALLEY 2

Big Valley 2 offers a location that’s not too noisy but not too quiet – nope, this one is just right. This cool concrete chalet boasts a picture-perfect position right on the edge of Lower Hirafu, providing beautiful views of the snow clad forest, but it’s still just a couple of minutes from the ski lifts and all the best restaurants in the area. The chalet itself is warm and plush in its furnishings – we love the open-plan living areas, but our favourite nook has got to be the bunk/media room hidden on the basement level!

If you’re travelling with more people, sister chalets Big Valley 1 and Big Valley 3 are located right next door.

Big Valley 2 is unmistakably Japanese in its design, boasting bold concrete walls and seemingly endless stretches of full-wall windows. Add to this the warm and comfortable interiors which span an impressive three floors and you have yourself one of the most comfortable chalets in the area.

Living Room

The living room is the social hub of the chalet, located on the middle floor and flanked by scenic full-wall windows. This is the perfect place to really kick back and relax on the soft sofas while bingeing on your favourite Netflix shows.

Dining Room

The open floor plan of the living areas allows conversation to flow freely, with the dining table located just steps away from the living room seating area. Beyond this, you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the cutlery and crockery you might need during your stay in Niseko.

Big Valley 2 has four bedrooms. Three rooms have split beds which can be set up as a king-sized bed or two single beds. The fourth room has a set of bunk beds. The bunk bedroom is located on the ground floor and the three double bedrooms are housed on the top floor.

Big Valley 2 is a four-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. Big Valley 2 is part of the Big Valley estate, together with Big Valley 1 and Big Valley 3.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Big Valley 2 sits on the edge of Lower Hirafu Village in Niseko. This peaceful setting brings you within walking distance of the ski lifts (about 10 minutes or so) and just a block or two from the main dining strip. That being said, being just slightly removed from the main buzz means you’ll get to enjoy peace and quiet while relaxing at the chalet which is neighboured by other lodges and tranquil Niseko forest.
