Big Valley 3 is the quintessential Japanese chalet, boasting a cool concrete exterior juxtaposed by endless windows and of course, mountain of Niseko’s iconic powder snow. On the inside, the chalet is warm, cozy and comfy, offering all the creature comforts you could ask for: a full-feature kitchen for preparing gourmet meals, Netflix for streaming for your favourite movies and laundry facilities for convenience. The location is superb, too, with the ski lifts just a 10-minute walk away.

If you’re travelling with a bigger group, sister chalets Big Valley 1 and Big Valley 2 are located right next door.

With its striking concrete exterior, Big Valley 3 follows modern Japanese design sensibilities. On the inside, though, guests can relish warm and comfortable interiors – the perfect retreat after a day spent out in winter wonderland.

Living Room

The living areas occupy the middle level of the three-storey chalet and thanks to an open floor plan, they work as the social hub of the chalet. There is a generous L-shaped sofa positioned before full-wall windows. The sofa faces a wall-mounted TV, placed above a beautiful stone fireplace.

Dining Room

The dining area is a fluid extension of the living room lounge area. There is a dark wood dining table flanked by high back chairs and an in-built sofa. The dining area extends to a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen.

Big Valley 3 has four bedrooms. Three rooms have split beds which can be set up as a king-sized bed or two single beds. The fourth room has a set of bunk beds. The bunk bedroom is located on the ground floor and the three double bedrooms are housed on the top floor.

Big Valley 3 is a four-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. Big Valley 3 is part of the Big Valley estate, together with Big Valley 1 and Big Valley 2.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Big Valley 3 is located on the border of Lower Hirafu Village in Niseko, Japan. This is a more quiet part of the region, where the property is surrounded by other chalets and lodges and bordered by snow covered woodlands. That being said, it only takes 10 minutes to reach the ski lifts on foot – plus, there’s a shuttle bus stop close to your doorstep. It also takes only a few minutes to reach the closest restaurants. Nice!
