After helping travellers book their dream holidays for over a decade, we have learned this: we all travel to experience something magical. To encounter new adventures and breathtaking beauty.
Over the years, we have curated experiences that live up to those standards. They are experiences that we and our guests have tried, tested – and loved. You can book all these experiences through our concierge.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has a magic to it. This eardrop shaped island is accessible and welcoming, but it still has the feel of a hidden gem; a delicious secret you want to keep all to yourself. Exploring the island’s blissful beaches, open waters, and lush landscape are some of our most treasured travel memories.
Yacht Charter
Channel your inner A-lister and charter a yacht for the day. Spend a day out on the water, enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous scenery. During your excursion you can snorkel on the reefs, try some stand up paddle boarding, or even hop on a pair of jet skis. Whether you’re looking for once-in-a-lifetime thrills or simply want to soak up the sublime scenery, there is no better way to spend a day in Sri Lanka.
Water Activities: Jet Skis, Speedboats & More
Shh – this might just be the best kept secret in Sri Lanka. Flow is a pair of luxury houseboats sailing across scenic Bolgoda Lake. Staying in these “floating villas” is a unique experience in itself… and it only gets better from there. Guests staying at Flow have immediate access to thrilling water sports, including jet skis, speedboats, tubing, and fishing. Staying at Flow and jet skiing on the lake is an experience we’ll never forget.
Tea Plantation Tour
Sri Lanka is one of the largest producers and exporters of tea in the world. Enjoying a fresh cuppa on your villa’s scenic patio is a dreamy experience – especially after you’ve toured the plantation where the cuppa in question originates from. A tea plantation tour brings you to some of the most beautiful parts of Sri Lanka – think rolling green hills and fresh mountain air – and gives you a whole new appreciation for the fine art of making tea.
Safari at Yala National Park
Yes, you can experience a thrilling safari outside of Africa. Nestled in southern Sri Lanka, Yala National Park certainly delivers the goods, boasting one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Besides those stunning spotted creatures, Yala is home to Sri Lankan elephants, wild water buffalos, crocodiles, peacocks… and more. On our unforgettable visit to Yala, we spotted over 50 different animals!
Vanuatu
Vanuatu is an easy country to love. Known for its paradise beaches and diverse marine life, this archipelago is a real slice of paradise. Happily, the islands have not been saturated by mass tourism, making them the perfect escape for when you want to live life at a gentler pace.
Snorkelling
With its calm, clear waters and vibrant reefs, Vanuatu is a dreamy spot for snorkelling. The visibility is great so you can easily spot colourful fish, sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and colourful coral amid the water. The archipelago offers a huge variety of snorkelling sites. Erakor Island is an accessible choice located just a couple of minutes from the main island of Efate. Another fabulous option is Champagne Beach, an aptly named stretch of sand located on Espiritu Santo Island. The sand here is powder white and the water is crystal clear – and the snorkelling is amazing.
Diving
No two ways about it: Vanuatu is a scuba diver’s paradise. Not only are these crystal-clear waters teeming with colourful marine life but there are also world-famous wrecks to discover. The most famous site is SS President Coolidge, a US Naval vessel that sank in 1942 that’s worthy of a multi-day expedition. Other incredible diving sites include Million Dollar Point (home to sunken US Navy equipment valued at, you guessed it, 1 million dollars) and Hideaway Island (a marine sanctuary that’s perfect for beginners).
Blue Lagoon
Blue Lagoon is the most idyllic spot you can imagine. Just as the name suggests, the water here is surreally blue, with lush mangroves adding to the appeal. There are rope swings hanging from trees, allowing the kids and those young at heart to splash around with abandon. When you need a little break, you can have a scenic picnic out by the water. The place is so beautiful and relaxing that you can easily pass several hours here.
Fire Show
Look no further: this is simply the best way to cap off a day in paradise. This thrilling fire show is said to be one of the best in the Pacific… if not in the world. In the dark of the night, the fire looks magical, the music is exhilarating, and the performers’ skill and charisma will take your breath away. It’s the most magical way to spend an evening in tropical Vanuatu.
Phuket
The Pearl of the Andaman certainly lives up to its glamorous nickname. This paradise island juts out of the Andaman Sea, boasting divine beaches, lush landscape, and majestic villas built high on clifftops. It’s little wonder that everyone from Rihanna to Mick Jagger has chosen Phuket as their holiday destination.
Island Hopping
One of the best things to do in Phuket is leaving it – at least for a little while. Phuket is surrounded by the most gorgeous limestone islands and clear blue waters where you can snorkel amid colourful fish and corals. Hopping on a boat to tour the islands is an absolute must. You can hop over to the Phi Phi Islands (as seen in the movie The Beach), canoe around James Bond Island, snorkel at the Similan Islands…Whichever itinerary you choose, it’s bound to be one of the highlights of your trip.
Koh Samui
While Koh Samui has always been a tropical dream destination, season three of The White Lotus definitely made the island even more appealing to the wider audience. This blissful island is just as good in real life as it appears on the screen, if not better. Come for the white sandy beaches and aqua blue waters – stay for the divine cuisine and gracious hospitality.
Yacht Charter
Anchors away! Chartering a yacht allows you to explore the clear blue waters and stunning islands surrounding Koh Samui. There are many alluring options within easy reach: Angthong National Marine Park with its collection of paradise islands, Koh Madsum for its friendly swimming piggies, Koh Tao for the snorkelling – and more. Sailing around the island also offers a gorgeous perspective on Koh Samui itself.
Bali
Bali – The Island of the Gods. With its lush landscape, relaxed lifestyle, and rich traditions, this paradise island has stolen the hearts of countless visitors. Home to thousands of temples and some of the friendliest people on Earth, there really is no place like Bali.

The five-hour trek is a wonderful way to get to know Bali beyond the tourist trail.
Surfing
Surf’s up! Whether you’re a seasoned surfer or an absolute newbie, Bali is one of the best surf destinations in the world. The island offers waves suited for all experience levels – especially when you have an expert instructor showing you the ropes. Your instructor will assess your skill level and meet you where you’re at. This will allow you to meet your goals, whether that means catching your very first wave or honing your skills to the max. And yes, they have lessons for kids too.
Day Trip to the Gili Islands
The three Gili Islands offer a dreamy escape from Bali. There are no cars on the islands, and you can walk around Gili Trawangan (or Gili T), the largest of the trio, in less than two hours. In other words, life here moves at a slower pace, inviting you to set your internal clock to “island time.” The boat ride from Bali to Gili T takes about 2.5 hours. From Gili T, it takes just 10 minutes to reach Gili Meno and Gili Air. You can visit all three islands or settle for just one or two – just follow your bliss and enjoy the ride.
Morocco
Morocco is a feast for the senses. From the ancient medina to the sand dunes and beyond, there is definitely some magic to the Kingdom of the Atlas. We love escaping to this corner of the world that still feels raw and real, far beyond the trodden tourist trail.
Day Trip to the Sand Dunes
Visiting the Sahara Desert is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Seeing the dunes etched against the horizon and witnessing the vast landscape stretch out as far as the eye can see is something you’ll never forget. The experience is almost otherworldly – it’s as if you’ve landed on a foreign planet, minus the hassle of interplanetary travel. Travelling from your villa to the desert provides you a window to rural Morocco; a fascinating experience in itself.
Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains
Staying in a villa around Marrakesh, chances are that you’ll see the Atlas Mountains etched against the skyline. This majestic mountain range separates the Sahara Desert from two oceans: the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, the latter of which was actually named after the mountains. Visiting the mountains lets you escape the city, enjoy cool mountain air, and gaze at some stunning scenery. Visiting the Atlas Mountains also offers a fascinating glimpse into traditional Berber culture and local artisans.
Cambodia
Cambodia still has that unbridled feel of adventure. This enchanting country lets you channel your inner Indiana Jones, discovering ancient temples hidden in the jungle. In addition, the country represents amazing value in a region that has seen accommodation prices soar.
Explore Angkor
Angkor Archaeological Park is one of those places that leaves you grasping for words. The park sprawls over 400 km2, housing remnants of the Khmer Empire dating back centuries. The highlight is obviously Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, which is particularly beguiling at sunrise. Whether you tour Angkor in a private car or on the back of a tuk-tuk (our favourite!), it’s sure to be an experience you’ll treasure forever.
